We've been lucky enough to get our hands on both colourways of the adidas TEMPER RUN here at ER HQ. The 'chunky' shoe trend continues to gain momentum in 2018 and shows no sign of slowing down. The TEMPER RUN was initially introduced a few years ago in a White/Chalk/Red/Blue colourway and didn't exactly set the heather alight amongst the community and hit the sales rack.
It looks like the shoe was a little ahead of it's time and unsurprisingly it's back to meet demand for the chunky footwear trend that we're currently seeing across all major lifestyle and sportswear brands from Balenciaga to Fila and everything in between.
First impressions of the shoe are very good and the "SESOGO/SESOGO/CWHITE" (Orange to me and you) colourway is the more striking of the two.
The upper features layer upon layers of monochromatic suede and mesh similar to the Yeezy 700 "Waverunner".
The shock absorbing "adiPRENE" sole unit is very inkeeping with the look of the upper and features the Torsion Bar that the adidas EQT range was famous for.
Overall this is a solid, well built shoe that will surely do well in the current market.
