adidas tunveiled the "Deerupt" runner, a shoe that takes inspiration from the runners of the 80's that utilisted the "Dellinger Web", this feature was seen on models such as the New York, Silverstar and some ZX models.
This new model features an upper entirely encased in Dellinger Web giving a snug, secure fit across the foot and according to the designers behind the shoe has been designed "to look its very best not only in person, but also when photographed on Instagram."
The official blurb on the shoe gives us a bit more detail into it: "Deerupt is proof that minimalism can be bold. These shoes have an ultra-flexible mesh upper covered in a layer of stretch grid webbing. A web-wrapped EVA midsole echoes the geometric look. Signature grid Grid webbing upper gives subtle compression Cushioned to lock in the foot Foam pockets are moulded into the sockliner to cushion and hold the foot securely OrthoLite® cushioned sockliner. Enjoy the comfort and performance of OrthoLite® sockliner."
The Deerupt Runner releases initially in four colourways on March 22nd and is priced at £79.95.
